TRUE PURITY

Many Manufactures claim to produce Ultra high purity and 6N (99.99997%) copper; however the different refining processes still leave variations in composition of impurities and crystalline structure according to the employed methods. All 6N copper materials are different, and in reality, most so-called 6N and 7N materials are not measured comprehensively. ACROLINK is the sole producer of stabilized ultra pure copper.

It is essential to maintain high purity to achieve extended frequency response because composition of impurity inhibits capability due from impedance variance.

STRESS-FREE COPPER

A unique stress-free process is applied after formation of actual cable core structure for maximum effect, in special environment maintaining original purity to restore crystalline disorder caused by extrusion process

INSULATION MATERIAL

new polymer polyolefin, presently the best material available, has been chosen as insulator for extremely low dielectric constant factor which is 1/3 of polypropylene and 1/4 of PVC.

POWER PLUGS

Produced by Oyaide electric inc., P-037 and IEC plug C-037 are another typical "made in Japan" products. With perfectly selected material, precision engineering and intricate/detailed finishing technologies, thoroughly produced all purely for the sound quality.

RESONANCE ABSORPTION

ACROLINK 4030 VS. OYAIDE TUNAMI

At DIYAUDIOSTORE we are lucky enough to have both cables for demo. From our A/B tests on various systems. The Acrolink P4030PC has always came out on top- Openness, Dynamics and natural reproduction of vocals and intruments. Compared to the Acrolinks, the Oyaide Tunami sounded as if it flattened the sound stage- But what it did very well was pin-point imaging and micro-dynamics. I felt that it revealed more detail than any other power cable I've heard in the past; the cable is perfect for detail junkies.

At the end of the day- if I had to choose between Acrolink or Oyaide cable to get- I would go for the Acrolink in my system. But I do use both at the moment- Acrolink P4030PC for the CD player (CD players and pre amps are the most fussy about power cables) and Oyaide Tunami for my Active speakers/power amps.
