The transparent centre body provides instant visual checking of connections and an internal body clamp grips two ways to prevent cable twisting. The Clipsal 56P310 is dust, water and UV resistant. All are fitted with an optional screwed ring for securing to Socket outlets (56SO310).

Due to the large body of the connector,it is not possible to insert one next to another on a standard power board.

Clipsal 1439HD power plug

The 1439HD has a smaller body than the 310S but the same contact pins. The cable insertion hole is smaller as well.

The pins are insulated so that should the plug become partially dislodged from the socket, the exposed pins pose no threat of electrocution if touched.
