Making The ULTIMATE Interconnect- Pure silver audio interconnects that outperforms cables up to $500

System Tweaks

Build your own power filter - build an amazing Filter that compares to many high end filters

*Update 04/2007* Recently we tried using bypass caps at the power input of a CD player- (.1uf and .47uf) it cleaned up te high freqency and background noise but also cut bass extentsion- We will continue tweaking.

Power cables: they make a difference in sound quality- make your own cable at a fraction of the cost to buy one.

*Update 09/2007* Canare 4S11 speaker cable as a power cable. The Canare cable is a quad core cable (red for Positive / white for Negative / 11ga. wire for Ground) - Currently in its burn-in stage before auditioning. Total cost to make a 2 metre power cable with Australian 3 pin male socket and Gold plated IEC: $66.50 -

*Update07/2007 Canare 4S11 power cable produced mix results: 1 user commented on how it lacked dynamics on his system. While another thought it sounded pretty good on his Wadia 12 DAC.

*Update 04/2007* Solid core 18ga. copper with cotton insulation we found the sound not as dynamic as the $500 Acrolink but it had a quieter background- highs were very smooth. Still work in progress. Total cost to make a 2 metre power cable with Australian 3 pin male socket and Gold plated IEC: $83.00

Connecting RCA cable

Drain wires are optional. They can add a bit more mid range detail to the sound- you should try to make it with and without drain wire as the effect will vary depending on your system (drain wires also make it easier to braid). If you use a shield on your design, connect it to the source side only.
